Oh and the latest thing I have seen come through our email at work are bogus sites that looked like PNC bank, even had PNC in part of the URL but here's the kicker... It has a VALID SSL certificate from a TRUSTED issuer... So it makes the site you're on look valid because it has a real certificate issues by a flaky company on China, of course. From my reading the company has a flaw that these guys are taking advantage of.
The thing about the certificate is that it is missing information like a CN or Organization Name and so on so to the untrained eye it looks fine but if you look at the certificate details if clearly looks fishy...
