NTACB @"Emiliano" you should be really careful with spiders. Us folks in the northeast like to think the spiders we have are harmless but they can still do a number on you. Even if a spider isn't supposed to be poisonous, it still has bacteria that can be deadly when it bites you, making it pretty much poisonous. My hand got bitten by a spider in the woods once, and a golf ball sized lump swelled up. I had to take antibiotics and my hand is still somewhat discolored after so many years. I forget if it was my brother, an aunt, or both, but they got bitten by a spider on their arms, and when they went to the hospital, the doctors said if they waited any longer, their arms would have needed to be amputated.

I don't know if that's just an exaggeration, but it goes to show that spiders aren't exactly innocent. Sure, they aren't supposed to bite us because we aren't their food, but just like cute little bumblebees and evil demonic wasps, they're stupid bugs and have no way of knowing we mean them no harm.

I did look up how to make natural spider repellents. I have the dish soap, water, lavender and peppermint essential oils that it calls for. But I have rice vinegar, not white vinegar, so hopefully it still works. And the dish soap, lavender, and peppermint are all in the bathroom. So I'm going to have to wait until he decides to do something else and then just spray the fuck out of everything and hope he gets the point. Or she. Or they.
