^yep. Female spiders are like three times bigger than the males. They sometimes literally eat their men after mating with them.
What I always wondered was what life would be like if we were like one of the species where the females are multiple times bigger than the males. There's a species of fish where the males are just little tadpole size parasites that stick to the females. It'd be funny if humans were like that. I wonder if the ladies would be carrying us around in their purses, using us as poker chips, or being kind enough to make little doll houses for us.
