Banned because reading back a few pages here, I don't really care too much for the notion of leaving the planet. Sure the human species has done great damage to other species and the environment but even if we fixed that, in the greater picture of geological time, the planet and its immediate space neighborhood with their ever changing environmental conditions will wreck more havoc than that no matter what we do, just as it has happened before. Sometimes it takes out 75% of all living forms, sometimes 95%. Perhaps nex time it will go for 99%. Eventually, everything we know will disappear when all our cumulative strategies, selected by the environment, inherited in our DNA, proven successful until now, will no longer be effective to keep us alive. And the planet will go on fine without us until the sun goes all red and fat and swallows the planet or dries it entirely. The more I think about it the more pointless everything seems to be, to the extent I kinda want the planet to stop spinning all of the sudden so I'd be ejected at 1670 Km/h into the cold space. If that is even how it works. So I tend not to think too much about it because I just feel crushed.
@Chase I think the count received a similar reset than likes...everyone started with "zero"...I think
