Sorry to hear that this is such a trial for your family @"InbetweenDreams."  Do the best that you can.  Have you talked to her doctor yourself and explained he situation?

Well the good news is she's home and was only dehydrated, so they got fluids in her. I think that was brought on by her not eating and having these stomach problems. The problem is all the hassle to get my dad to commit to do the right thing, now I could have just done it myself but I might be living in my car...and well I guess that would be my fault anyway. On the other hand if I wasn't home with this going on she might have never went to the ER and neither me or my sister would have any idea that anything was wrong.

Basically, my dad is a fucking moron who think he knows everything. My mom is having an Ensure and a banana this morning and the doctor said she's supposed to drink 72 oz of fluid daily, she was going to count the 8oz. Well my dad is arguing that ONLY water hydrates you and nothing else does...which is nonsense. No, not going to fight that battle, he'll get mad and piss and moan and isn't worth it. He throws big tantrums over the smallest stuff all the time. There's a lot more to my screwed up life than what I am willing to put in a post. All I can say is that my dad is bat shit crazy and that's the way it is.
