Hey all, I just thought I'd jump in here real quick and put up a short post introducing myself. I am 46 years old and live in Yukon, OK. I am a gay man who is struggling to come out of the closet. I'll write more about that later. I have filled out a lot of my profile information so if you want to know more about me, just go to my profile page and you can learn about my interests, hobbies, music and tv preferences as well as other things about me.
One thing you will not learn there is that I am blind. I have been blind all of my life and this makes it kind of hard to meet other gay men. This is especially hard because my friends and family are homophobes and are absolutely against same-sex relationships. Again, I will write more about this later in the "coming Out" forum.
I write a lot of stories and poetry so perhaps I will share some of that at some point. I also have a blog but I am rebuilding the website right now. As soon as I get it up and running to my satisfaction, I will post the link here.
I really like the way this site is laid out and I think I am going to thoroughly enjoy my time here.
