Positive from negative.

I recently (3 months ago) split up with my boyfriend of 18 months. I was totally and utterly heartbroken, I mean crying on your bed listening to the carpenters kind of heartbroken. He finished with me and told me he didn't love me anymore. I was 16 and a half stone with no social life, my world was him. For a week I was in a really bad place and was seriously depressed. I'd done so much for him, spent thousands of pounds on him, took him to New York and stuff.

Then it occurred to me that I was wasting my time and life. I started the atkins diet and contacted all my old mates that I had ditched when I met him.
3 months on I have lost 4 stone and am having more fun and more casual sex than I've ever had in my life!
He recently saw me in brum copping off with a twinky 20 year old, and messaged me the next day saying how he had made a mistake and he missed me. I took great pleasure in being able to totally ignore him.

The moral of this story is: It's never as bad as it first seems, it always gets better.
