"Free will?" WTF?

To anyone who hasn't read it already, you've gotta read Twain's "What is Man". It's all about man's free will or, rather, the lack thereof. He makes a pretty formidable argument that humans are little more than machines who's actions are almost completely dictated by outside influences. He paints a really detailed picture of how almost every thought humans have, every word uttered, and every belief possessed stems from the influence of an outside force.
