I think it is alot more about Liberal vs Conservative and sorry to say this folks but the Liberals are 1000% better overall.

Liberal Christians are our allies in many cases and they do NOT promote Theocracy.

Take, for instance, the Reverend Cecil Williams of Glide Methodist in San Francisco. They are quite Liberal and have always been supportive and inclusive

Here in Silicon Valley alot of churches got together to SUPPORT Gay Marriage and affirm equality and campaigned FOR gay Marriage in 2008...here is the ad they took out...

VOTE NO ON PROPOSITION 8.

Of course when you move up and down the SF Bay Area from Monterey and Santa Cruz to Santa Rosa and of course San Francisco you will find ALOT more churches who also support gay marriage...but not conservative ones.

It is the same with Liberal Jews, Liberal Muslims, Liberal Catholics...pretty much Liberals across the board. I think it is more of a conservative vs liberal issue and always has been.
