I don't use chat-up lines (I'm going with Spotysocks on this one) - however I did want to recount a genuine attempt at a chat-up line used by a lad who was in my year at secondary school on a girl.

We used to call him "Slippy" because he was such a slimy bastard ... anyhow, this is how it went.

First, the setting.

You're a girl ... in Paris - romantic capital of Europe practically. You're standing with a drink at a location which has a great view of the Eiffel Tower.

All of a sudden this lad slides up (literally, I might add) beside you, spots you looking at the Eiffel Tower, and whispers in your ear "Magnificient, isn't it ?"

"Mais oui" you reply, turning to face him.

He looks at you, leers and says "would you like to see another mighty erection ?"

Needless to say she slapped him in the face and walked off.
