So I had a someone reach out to me late last night via email asking me if there was a way that she could track her daughter's cell phone. Explaining that he daughter has an abusive boyfriend that is apparently her meth dealer and that her daughter has been missing since sometime back in March, that she was supposed to contact her once a week and started getting strange text messages from an old phone number. Anyway, in case anyone is wondering, you as a regular person cannot track a cell phone. You would have to previously had to set something up on a phone in order to do that...or have some connections with someone who work for one of the carriers who is privy to being able to do something like that. Of course, I feel horrible about this, knowing that there's nothing I can do and realizing what she is going through, health problems of their own and so on. It just an awful situation.
@Meebs I'm glad you're ok. That sucks though. Does your insurance company provide rentals?
