Fair play to you Billy for taking a significant negative and turning it into a positive ...
... and you're absolutely right - so many times in life we're confronted by situations and think "I can't do that ..." ... or "I really Really ReAlLy REALLY don't want to go through with that ...", but ultimately we find it in ourselves to be able to not only get through them (even the proper BAD experiences), but we also manage to learn from them, and wherever possible, to improve BECAUSE of them ...
... since your break-up you've taken steps to improve yourself on a number of levels, and all of them seem to be paying-off for you ...
... and yeah - whilst I've never been one for *advocating* revenge, I do agree that there is something VERY very satisfying about levelling the playing field.
