Technically no. I have never broken a mobile/cell phone. Instead I am informed by the Verizon People that I must - absolutely must, update my phone because their service will no longer support my phone type. So I have 5 phones that still work (accept a charge and turn on) but no longer work on the cellular phone system.
I am holding on to them like I am holding on to my 8-track tapes, LPs, Cassette Tapes, Beta Tapes and other now 'obsolete' technologies because i just know that they will once again become popular.... if I only wait long enough.
Hell I still have a rotary phone
Phone lines no longer support rotary dialers around here, but I'm holding on to mine because I know digital is just a passing fad.
The person below me never used a rotary phone.
