Countries with a national healthcare system somehow manage to pay a smaller percentage of their GDP towards healthcare and have better outcomes. That's not to say that it is the answer, but why is it such a bad thing to try when it seems to be working for everybody else? I think there are other things that must be done to help the general health of this country, for example all the crap food is cheap in this country, but the healthier options are usually more expensive. However, how healthcare is delivered in this country seriously needs to be looked at.
So don't eat crap food. All that information is readily available.
Half the country wants free everything and the other half doesn't. How exactly does Sanders change that equation?
