You know, [MENTION=23180]axle2152[/MENTION], I think you are spot on. It amazes me that people yelp about the biased media when they have unprecedented access to varying points of view, as well as the opportunity to make up their own minds.
I was educated in public schools in the Midwest until we moved to Florida when I was in the eighth grade. In those early years I learned that we could have different opinions and that we could respect each other. We learned, as kids, that we needed to listen to each other. We respected our teachers and they respected us. So much of this is absent today. Electionsand citizenship are importnat things to teach children and we put off the tast to CNN and whatever is on TV or in a movie. It causes me real pain to see people treated like commodities by politicians. I know I am ranting, but it is time somebody does!
