I don't see how anyone who really believed in what Bernie was saying would want to risk Trump winning. His speech was scary. Even Bernie Sanders understands that, he's not trying to fight Clinton anymore because he realizes there is a larger enemy. He could bitch and moan about her, but he's not. And his supporters should understand why he is doing that. At least Hilary and the dems are sane. That's what I'm saying - that party needs to put some egos aside and make some big compromises inside itself.
I'm not trying to say how people should vote - as a third party member I hate when people pull that on me. And I'm not talking to third party members either- I'm talking to the democrats that risk splitting their party. We got to look at what's in front of us and which is the actual terrifying option. If some of the dems are pissed then hey, put in the one that's less likely to drive us off a cliff for right now, and over the next few years talk with third parties, get third parties into local offices, and take the political revolution seriously.
A protest vote for a third party candidate isn't going to magically get them into office, and even if it did, look at what the republicans did with Obama. Jill Stein would have to have dictatorial powers to get past the two major parties. Third party members know that, it's bottom up, not top down. And if angry democrats only want to vote third party or write Bernie in when they are upset during a presidential election, they got to learn that's not how it's going to work.
And you know Trump is jerking off to all this because a divided democrat party makes it all the easier for him to win. That's why he's fanning the flames, not because he cares about the dnc scandal or thinks Bernie is better than Hilary.
As I'm writing this I'm listening to Bernie's speech - think of Trump having the power to elect a Supreme Court justice. Fuck man.
