In that case it might be worth looking into...$2,000 isn't exactly pocket change but seeing that I'm no legal expert you might give them a call and see if anything can be done...I mean I don't know how one goes to an insurance company, fills out the paperwork for a policy and somehow was never charged for the policy and then doesn't want to file a claim...sounds like a very crummy insurance company...
