Well now that the car business is out of the way. There's something new that is coming down the pipeline. The state department that oversees the institutions like the place I work in is replacing someone who retired. Of course never know if I would be one to get such a position but a possible opportunity as well.
Here's the catch, I feel that I can't take the position if I were even offered because the job is over at the state capital. So that means I would have to move and rather quickly I might add. The problem with moving is simply that I'm in no position to move. A major side effect to frivolous spending. I estimated it would probably cost $3,000-5,000 to move into a place. After all you have to deal with the rent, you have to put down security deposits on everything and you have to get your crap into the new place.
Just a though, not to mention I have next to zero furniture that would be worth taking, so I would be sleeping on an air mattress for some time. Not that I'm opposed to doing that, but just sounds like it is just a little bit out of my reach and I'm sure there will be more opportunities. Just a thought and things like this need to be a reminder to me as far as getting to places goes.
I don't necessarily like the idea of moving to a big city and so on but it might be the right path to take in terms of career. However, I would be pretty much alone which might be bad for me too.
