Well on the car I didn't actually spend anything, the $2,000 comes from the net cost over the financing.

The problem is I have no cash to move. Regardless what I had done with the car I would still have a high car payment. Ok so enough about the car crap lol

So I get paid monthly and what I get paid is not nearly enough to deposit for an apartment or anything. Most want 1st, last and security deposit...and I have a cat and I'd hate to have to get rid of him so there's pet deposit as well. Security deposit for electric and other utilities. So yeah my only way out would be to ask my parents for money which is silly and only delays the saving up of any money.

So the next step is putting back money for such a move. The application deadline is in a couple weeks, if they move like they did at the college we're talking like I need to have my duckies in a row within a month.

I don't know how I am going to stretch what I make (not posting that on the forum, the discussion would need to go privately to get into those details) to get into an apartment or even come up with the money alone to get into a place.

Bottom line is I don't think it is feasible, not without really sabotaging things like not paying bills, etc. I don't think my situation is dire. I do agree that I need to move, somewhere...

I think like you say, holding back some money is a better place to start. Will have to make a budget that focuses on that. I mean it is going to take some time to get $5k in the bank with all the things I got going on debt and payment wise.

At any rate there are always people retiring somewhere. Since I am in the state vacancies are often emailed to everyone in the state so I'm sure there will be more. I just don't see how I can pull it off, if it were a little later on or had more of a heads up I might be able to arrange something.
