Well I don't know much about the genetics and effects of what it has on biological gender, just as I don't know a lot about the issues one goes through to decide on wanting to change gender or why they are the way they are. All I can say is well I'm gay, I don't know what made me gay or why I like guys, so I can make the comparison to apples and oranges. What I don't understand is why someone can make the claim to say it is ok for you to be gay but it isn't ok to be transgender. I mean if you ask me that sounds like failed logic.

If you ask me we should live and love the way we want to. In the end it doesn't matter as we will all face the same demise. Well all have a limited amount of time in this life with the likelihood that it will be the only life anyone will get to live, at least that is how I see it. Not sure what everyone's thoughts are on religion. I mean there have been so many people who have died because they didn't fit someone else's mold of society.

Anyway, let's not have a quarrel about who knows more about genetics or gender. I think going into a discussion about genetics and gender in that fashion might be a bit inappropriate in this thread. I mean we can talk about it, but in another thread I think would be best.

Its cool, I'm done with [MENTION=18789]artyboy[/MENTION] who simply couldn't answer me in the end with anything more then "Maybe you have a problem with disabilities lol" with nothing prior to back that up after failing to find an argument. When debating points becomes slanderous comments towards yourself you know the person you're speaking with has nothing of value to offer.

Now back to the subject itself. We may be categorically sectioned under the acronyms of LGBT or LGBTQ if you prefer but there are vast differences between gay and trans people, which is why people may have an opinion of one and a different one of another. Because of this group acronym gay people are expected by the outside world to understand fully the feelings of trans people when in fact when we simply cannot because our sexuality is not the same as feeling like you're in the wrong body. You will never eradicate hate towards anyone from a minority group but making the subject more public will make a lot of people think twice before publicly displaying that hate as a lot of people fear the backlash that may ensue.
