I let a little boy watch Buffy. His once chronic nightmares came back featuring the Gentlemen And yet the episode, the one that arguably scared him the worst, was his favorite, and he watched it over and over again. He also loves horror in general. (So does his sister.)
I loved Scary Stories and certain scary poems as a child, but many don't. Some publishing companies have even made the drawings less scary due to complaints. I'm curious as to who is complaining, it's never said (saying "parents" doesn't count as plenty of parents aren't complaining, and are even complaining that it's being changed, I want something more specific on the complainers).
