I finally got somewhere on the aquarium. I decided that I would do south american stuff that likes acidic soft water. So I went with Fluval stratum for substrate and various plants, probably not all native to South America but they all look cool. I might do some CO2 but not sure if it will be needed or not. I got 14 neon tetras (technically one is a "green" neon tetra or also known as a false neon tetra), 10 fire ember tetras and 10 panda corydoras and of course the one betta fish. The Fluval Plant 3.0 should hopefully arrive tomorrow so I'll actually have good lighting.
