I used to have rashes all over my body, very itchy and look ugly. I was very shy to hang out with others including my friends. I went to see the doctor, he said I had allergy, gave some pills and asked me to come back again. It did cure my rashes. But when I stopped the pills, the rashes came back again. I went to see the doctor again, he gave me the same pills but in greater dose. It did help. But the rashes still come back after I stopped taking the pills. I was very frustrated and worried and disappointed by the doctor. So I decided not to take any more pills for a while. The rashes just went away eventually.
Later I discovered from some books that rashes or acnes and some other symptoms related to the skin is just a way my body tries to detoxify when it is overloaded by toxin. I used to have a sedentary lifestyle (not enough perspiration to throw off toxin via sweat) and barely ate vegetable and fruits. I was also addicted to table salt. I always had it with fruits.
I tried to eat only vegetable + fruit + rice recently. My face was very clean. When I ate rice + oily fried vegetable in greater quantity, my face started to have acnes. So I think starch and/or cooking oil may be the culprit
