I think it's one of those things that is more interesting and fun if you actually play jazz, otherwise it just sounds like ten guys all playing a different song at the same time.
Part of me wants to say I enjoy jazz just so I seem smart, but I really don't. There's a lot of jazz players at my school, and they're very impressive, but after two or three minutes of them playing I just start thinking about what I'm going to eat in few hours, or if anyone has noticed that I've worn the same shirt three days in a row.
What I like in jazz is that it's very based on improvisations
