iTunes is now an app that runs on Macs and PCs. It has been used for those things called iPods for some time on both platforms.
When you use iTunes you can use the store where most tunes are charged for but there are also many many many freebies for the Touch and iPhone (maybe other iPods but not sure). I think that PodCasts are usually free and the Radio is free. ***I am sure there is a way to record the Radio programs but I dont know of one [/color]
Yep..i knew there was a windows ver (but its XP or above only.. i have 98)
Plus i don't have an iPod...when i think iTunes i think 2 things: "iPod" and
their thingie that wants to charge for audio files. (although i now sorta do
remember somwhere reading/hearing about the free internet 'radio' it has)
LOL
And as for recording the 'radio' programs...that ofcourse can be done
(maybe not directly through the iTunes program) but it can be done none
the less mile: weather or not there's any sorta protection on the audio
data stream
