You have to understand that gift-giving as a way to show your love is something that some people (like me and surprisingly my bf) are good at, whilst other people find it extremely hard.
Understand that gift-giving is only one of several ways to show your love. A very wise woman once told me of ten fundamental ways that people show their love, and gift giving was only one of them (I wish I could remember the other nine). I'm sure your bf has other things that he does to show you how much he loves you, you just need to accept that gifts are'nt one of them.
Also, I'm really curious as to what your 3 obsessions are?
