what if you been dating for 1, 2,3, or 4 months and you have not talked about being exclusive or haven't be asked to be their bfs, then what is cheating then?

Flirting is always open so long as it remains within reason. That is, flirting should be playful and joking rather than with intent. Kissing, sex, etc. is cheating. As far as the length of time . . . I don't think that matters. I think that the nature of the relationship is what matters. There can be understandings in a relationship that do not need a spoken agreement or a certain length of time, and I think that works both ways.
