Israel can't/won't attack Iran without the U.S.
And Obama (via Leon Panetta) has already said, essentially, they would be on their own.
If the U.S backed an Israeli attack the price of oil would realize a "war premium" and high fuel prices (speaking of what's good for the economy) would be a disaster for the Obama re-election campaign.
So, no. There will be no Israeli attack (with U.S. support) of Iran.
At least not this year.
