Thanks again Jay. I love the opportunity to sit and think about some of these things.
51. If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?
Learning from our mistakes is *optimal*. But let's be honest, we don't ALWAYS learn from our mistakes.
52. What impact do you want to leave on the world?
I was taught when borrowing something to return it in the same condition or better than when you first received it. That's what I hope for my "world" (people and space).
53. What is the most defining moment of your life thus far?
It concerns my job which I haven't shared on this website, sorry.
54. In the haste of your daily life, what are you not seeing?
I wish I knew! It might have something to do with my friends and family.
55. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
Life cannot be (nor should it be) a ice cream party 24 hours a day. Life is hard because it makes the brief moments of pleasure so much sweeter.
56. What lifts your spirits when life gets you down?
Spending time with my friends and their kids.
Praying/meditating--going for a walk.
Certain music.
57. Have you ever regretted something you did not say or do?
Of course.
58. Has your greatest fear ever come true?
I'm afraid it's unfolding right now.
59. Why do we think of others the most when they’re gone?
I'm not sure this is true unless we're speaking strictly about loved ones. Usually it's out of sight, out of mind.
60. What is your most beloved childhood memory?
My grandparents were immigrants. I cherish the memories of spending time at their house for the holidays with other members of my immediate and extended family eating the traditional foods and listening to the language of the "old country".
Thanks for the memories.
