well short story : communists got elected (or not) and that lead to immediate reactions where right-wing military dictatorships took power...that happened in almost every country in Latin America...lie a bad joke told over and over again..
D-Day.....irrelevant
80% of the Wehrmacht fell at the hands of Soviets..so needless to say it would not have made a difference as far Nazi Germany's defeat.
However the Soviets reached the Oder River when the Allies were barely crossing the Rhine, hence, if D-Day would have been delayed, Soviets could have gained control over the whole of Germany..
so, what implicance may have had for the future events if we had a fully communist united Germany under Societ influence?
