A Plead Against Anorexia

Don’t procrastinate to masticate,

Else obliterate a healthy fate.

If your appetite feels not quite right

Fight your plight and force a bite.

To munch upon a savory morsel

Is a luxury in countries poorsel.

So feast upon the flavors wrought

By farmers and food smiths, who work a lot.

A chicken wing, an onion ring,

Whatever makes your starved heart sing.

Don’t be afraid to have a taste.

Just keep it down and watch your waist.

How to Expand the Audience for the Finer Arts

No food or beers

Inside the theater.

The usher fears

Some might defeat her.

In this battle

Of things consumable,

No one tattles

Crimes inum'rable.

For it is true

That plays are better

When mouths can chew

And lips are wetter.
