I didn't get to say goodby.. in an instant you were gone..
And I will never be the same.. but I try to carry on,
The world around me doesn't blink.. as your life meets the end...
But my world crashes to the ground.. for I've lost my only friend,
I'll pick up all the pieces.. as I have done before...
And try again rebuilding.. this shattered life once more,
No words can console me.. as I'm holding to the pain...
Nothing that I say or do.. will stop the comming rain,
The storm inside grows stronger.. with every passing day..
The sun will never shine again.. the skies are always gray,
And though I must continue.. down this lonely road alone...
I pray that you'll be waiting , when "God" finally calls me home.
