You know, sometimes, you gotta do you



It’s a breaker I seem to hear
I think I’m a little off
Cause it is what it appears
To be this very night

I got my high confidence
And self-awareness
But this won’t commence
Anymore for myself

I just gotta do me at times
Even though I have to grime
In these tough times of mine
To myself, I am all so divine
Cause I gotta do me sometimes
My life has bells like ringing chimes
Like everyone, I go through hardships

As I try to push forward
In this life I devour
With evil that had poured
Down on me forever

As I try be truthful to you
You exclude my words
I’m starting to turn blue
And die out this very night

I just gotta do me at times
Even though I have to grime

My life has bells like ringing chimes
Like everyone, I go through hardships

Hearing awful screeching
From my insides
I’m not afraid of preaching
Utter ugly words

But it’s settlement brutality
Of my self-respect
In my own-self true reality
As I love myself
