Rising in the East and Setting in the West

You stand acentre in darkness. Your destiny is in your hands.

You stand acentre a compass that shall decide your fate, the course your life shall take.

To the North, Life.

Life resides to be your guardian, you shall live and know the meaning of life.


To the South, Love.

Love resides as your companion, you shall know what it is to love and be loved.


To the East, To the West.

You hold in your hands, Happiness and Despair, that which you must place on the compass.

Rising in the East and setting in the West these two feelings shall be laid upon your life by the order of the Sun.

Which order would you prefer?

To feel happiness and then despair?

Or

To feel despair and then Happiness?

hmmm i'd choose despair first, as it will make me strong and i shall persevere despite the grim circumstances, and after that embrace the peaceful and ultimately rewarding feeling of happiness at the end of an arduous journey. this way, when the sun sets i will be at peace with myself and the world, looking back on a life of hardship with the pride of a man who overcame the obstacles with dignity. mile:
