wear something that identifies you as gay
#41
I guess if wearing a Black Hills Gold rose ring says "Hey, Gay guy here!" Then I do wear something that identifies me as gay. Otherwise, nothing. If I'm wearing anything at all, which is rare when I'm at home.

I'm not a clubber so in town, you will usually find me in shorts and either shirtless or a tank (if I must wear a shirt) in summer or jeans and a sweater in winter.

Sure, if I am going out to a club, movie, play, musical, etc I end up wearing a tailored, coordinated, together look and, around here, that usually outs me to any strangers pretty quickly but, I don't dress to advertise my sexuality. I dress for the occasion, environment and what I like to wear, regardless of whether it makes me look gay or not.

I'm of the don't hide it but don't flaunt it flamboyantly either mindset.

I personally have never cared anything for fashion, trends, name brands, labels or even being cool when it comes to clothes.

In the summer I wear shorts (jean shorts, khaki cargos, camos, etc) generic t shirts, tank tops or sleeveless tees. In the winter I wear jeans, t-shirt, flannel shirts, denim shirts, sweat shirts,

As for shoes (Something very hard for me to find in my size; 14 EEE) I pretty much only wear canvas boat shoes. In the winter if it's snowy or icy out then I will wear hiking boots or work boots. I do have a pair of snake skin boots I wear from time to time.

I have a few ball caps. It's rare that i can find one that fits but when I do, I buy it. The last one I bought was a Harley Davidson ball cap (Size 4XL)

I really don't have any jewelry. My ears are pierced but I tend to wear the typical body jewelry that you get from a tattoo & body piercing shop.

So do any of my clothes sound like something a gay man would wear?

I wear a uniform, mosy days, I have long hair, but that is not in vouge in the gay world these days. I don't want to identify as gay, because I am not, I am bi only thing I know as a bi thing is the pride flag, I don't go for pride flags. So, expressing my sexuality through clothing isn't my thing. Not into jewelery, or percings.. I like ink but my tats are typically symbolic, and covered by clothing. Meh, if a gay or bi guy likes me and I like him, I will let him know.
