I be off to the farm tomorrow night, to sort out a weee bit of fraud.

Seems the gentleman who built my extensions got paid on my behalf by the owner, then paid again by me directly.

The dude didn't tell me he had already been paid.... Must have slipped his mind :mad:

I only discovered it when I was ready to come home and I asked for a settlement on my account. The owner just happened to mention that the amount "included" the xxx paid to the a fore mentioned gentleman

I was hopping mad I can tell you. But I Promise you all I'll keep my temper in check,

What I'll do is "discuss" it with him and with the owner present

Apparantly the dude decided it would be healthier to stay the hell away for the weekend,

Don't worry, I've made an undertaking to the owner to let things be as he has effectively delt with the dude (I was informed about what was said by two staff members, the bar-man and the head farm worker),

So I've made peace with it
