Adorable - and did you know that a young wolf, raised among humans will not learn to howl until 16-18 months old if you don't teach it?

So to answer your question Pix, the man was teaching the wolf.

It wouldn't. Halo, the "dog" in my album here is a high content (over 80%) wolfdog (wolf malamute hybrid) Even if he were 100% wolf, he would not be vicious. The are wary, shy, quiet, territorial and protective of their pack mates but, not vicious. If you got one as a cub (pup) it would see you as part of it's pack, a friend, playmate, leader, not someone to attack.
