What's everyone doing for Halloween?

Same a every year .... the old rites .... and waiting for the first crowing of one of my 7 roosters... you know.... the first crow ends the night of Samhain, starts the new year....

I hope it don´t freeze... on samhain I have always a door and a window open... for those family-members who passed away
And I will end some friendships this year.... samhain is a good time for that...

For the kids of the village ( mostly come only 5 - 10 kids ) I make popcorn this year ... with elderberry-syrup....

After casting my circle , and preparing my altar with Samhain incense and oils , that I have made over the past week.
I will be preparing the harvest feast including rye bread made by me that day ,before calling the the God& Goddess to Join me, I will throw some crumbs to my bird friends.

Those who have passed on that were dear to me ,will be remembered by name , deed and laughter.
After reflecting on this last year , I will ask the Gods to pay witness to all I will achieve in the coming year.

Then outside ,I will then pour the wine on the earth and leave the plate of food outside for the spirits.

Finally I will place some sage and brick dust at the threshold.

Ok so I wasn't going to decorate the house for Halloween or hand out candy, but I changed my mind. Just finished hanging decorations outside, carving a jack-o-lantern, and I got six bags of candy to hand out to all the ghosts and goblins! Plus, my new friend is coming over to help me hand out the candy, hang out, and watch scary movies with me! Should be a fun night!

Working from 2-8pm and then pretending I'm not home when I actually am haha. Someone else here can deal with the Trick or Treaters.
