I understand all of those points and agree, I still feel guilty that her son turned out to be gay and I can't imagine the disappointment she feels. However I am who I am, I was born this way and I believe in being proud of that. I never openly bring up my sexuality around her, it's just that when she tries to set me up or talk about possible girlfriends I end up reminding her that I swing the other way.
Zennyboy you are totally right, it is me who must take it seriously. I don't really consider what they want since I'm not what they want anyway lol, sure it hurts but that's life. It's getting them to just NOT voice it since either way I'm not going to change lol. I wish I could explain that to her without springing into an argument.
