As much as i didn't like Ben in the house, I really thought this was well deserved Smile He had planned it and he made it to the end, I'm so happy for him and he's partner. Smile

I'm hoping the askee would have replied something non committal like: "Can I answer that later?" or "We'll talk about this".

Oh, how exciting and sexy and fun, and loving, Dfiant! ... Thanks for this. Made me cry too... I'm thinking it might not be too long now, in France, till we can do it legally as well as other European and American countries. But apparently 1,000 mayors have signed a petition against it happening.... But there are actually 36,680 mayors in France (one for each "commune" or municipality), so 1,000 is just a fraction (1/36th = about 3% of all French mayors) of those who would have to celebrate gay marriages if it became legal. I hope our new socialist government does not back down on it. They made it part of their social platform for the recent presidential elections. Enough with the inequalities already!!

And while he proposed on Australian TV, there is no SSM in Australia, and only 2 states I know off the top of my head that have a same sex register/civil unions.

I hope this moment in TV history and the general populations response will start to bitch slap all those idiots AKA polititians into actually LISTENING to their constituants who ironically VOTE for them.
