Congratz on the big decision to move forward with you life.
Its never an easy step to take on deciding to quitting the smokes but its a decision that you wont regret.
Ive been smoke free for almost 5 months now and honestly cant say i remember a time apart from childhood that ive felt this good.
I found the champix helped tremendously in that by the 8th day (My quit day) i just woke up and went on with my day just without the smokes, while the champix does take the cravings and suppress other symptoms theres a whole other side that you personally need to control and found that the hardest, but in the end i was looking for that next step over the hill and what that promised me was way better than smoking.
Ive now got a full time partner, shredded 25kg and toned up and my job prospects have increased within my respected field due to not smoking, so as long as you've got something you want to achieve from this you will be able to do it.
Good luck bud. x

Awww sweetie I am so very proud of you , giving up takes guts.

Important steps are do not be in a rush , let the pills do there job, trust me the taste of the cigarettes becomes unpleasant by the time you get to week 3.

Tell your self you are going to stop smoking rather then give them up.
It's much easier on your mind.

Make sure you keep your blood pressure under check , as well as your heart rate.

Take the whole course , try to stick to the same time when you take the pills.
You can get extra packs for up to 6 months.

Make sure you praise your victory day bu day and do not forget to put the money you save on cigarettes towards something you have on your wish list , spoil yourself.

Try to stay away from triggers like a few at the local or coffee , what ever your trigger is.
When a craving hits drink a glass of water or orange juice , go for a walk.

I am so very proud of you .

Thanks all.

Day 1 of Champix.

Cravings have died off since I took the tab about 4 hours ago, I have had 2 cigs since when I normally would have had 5 or 6. Craving water, can't get enough of it right now.
