One of my neighbours used that power company. Our family doesn't want to because we don't like the idea of suddenly having power cut off if we forget to top up. We have enough trouble with our cellphones.

Lol the herald did this really redundant article on that poster "Pope Gay marriage ad unlikely to cause widespread offence" basically there was a man who complained but nobody else did so there will be no widespread offence. O.o

As for the billboards that St Matthew in the city puts up each year... I have a feeling they just want to stir up controversy.
This year they had Jesus "coming out" (of the womb).

Edit: Wow I just read the article you linked and it really blows the nz herald article out of proportion o.o The whole point is that nobody here cared except that one man. Just goes to show how sources get more and more inaccurate and changed the further away you get from the original matter.

LOL apparently there's another ad in the same campaign with Kim Jong Il doing a fundraising sausage sizzle!
I haven't seen that one yet.

I guess the problem was that they were using important figures in the campaign so they had to use Pope Benedict for this one, and that's what made it offensive. I guess it's a little bit insensitive, but I don't think it's that big of a deal, it is after all, an ad first and foremost and not a direct attempt to spark controversy, unlike the other infamous billboards of st matthew in the city:






Everyone needs to just calm their tits. Unlike me. My tits are booberrific.
