My boyfriend, well ex-boyfriend told me his sexual attraction for me was decreasing
#11
don't chnage for anyone. your ex was grasping at straws for an answer to his wanning attraction to you, so he picked something to make it seem like it is YOUR fault.

I guarantee you, it 100% is NOT your fault, he is hiding something from you, I suspect something along the lines of infidelity.

Welcome, Shinjii. You are in good company here.

I agree with others here that your bf's words seem to be hiding something more. I suspect there is some other reason he thinks the relationship won't work, and that's his easy way out. He may think he's protecting you from some deep hurt, but honesty would be much better.

As far as getting over it... time is really the only way. Don't jump into another relationship, and at the same time be open to possibilities. Distract yourself with fun activities for a while. Let the feelings come and go, whatever they are, but don't get stuck in them. Work on your physique if you want to.

When one person in a relationship decides it won't work for them, it's hard for the other not to feel hurt. I've been on both sides of that experience, and neither is easy. Remember it's not really you, but the relationship that had a problem.

I'm afraid that I have to agree with the others here - this was just his excuse to move on - whatever his reason.

Its always heart wrenching when you are blindside by someone you are in a relationship with. I know it's will not be easy but in the long run your going to be much better off without a guy who plays head games and makes you doubt yourself.

Since you seemed happy with you appearance before his announcement please don't revisit his excuse and think there is something wrong with you body - it attracted him in the first place.

Welcome to the site Shinjii! Welcome

I agree with the others. If he doesn't like you for who you are then dump him and move on. There's nothing wrong with trying to get fit, but only do it because it is something you want. Not because someone else wants you too.

This goes along with other posts Ive made about the same type of issues.

Its all that damned freeking brainwashing going on out there, fucking with everybodys heads....and them stupid enough to believe it all.

I will go with, if he's THAT damned shallow....GOOD RIDDENCE TO BAD RUBBISH!!!!

If looks is all he's interested in, then you are SO much better off being by yourself. He will never be interested in you as a person.

You dont need to be anything or anyone you dont want to be. And you DEFINATELY dont need to change yourself for ANYBODY ELSE, except you.
