in about 2 weeks US courts will give a decision. Likely to strike down Prop8 in CA and eliminate the 1996 Defence of Marriage Act.

Why? Have they stopped loving us LGBT?

I was so upset when they struck down DADT - It was nice to know society cared about its LGBT and wanted to shield us from things like Wars and Marriage (Which are close relatives and often indistinguishable).

I guess the straights want us to suffer as much as them, you know, marriage, wars, divorce the horrors of life. Cry

Why have they become so mean and cruel? Why?????

All gay people should picket and petition US legislation to make it law that once you are married, you STAY married. Divorce is a felony, punishable by 10 years in prison.

Lets see if the hetero's like that!!!

Many fundies say Jesus defined marriage as between a man and a woman in Matthew 19:4

However, they then ignore this, just a few verses later:

Quote:19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

So we could limit everyone to one marriage (unless it's the wife who cheats) since this is a "Christian nation" with the Bible to back us up. After all, Jesus was far more clear on divorce than marriage!
