there is a time, just before the furnace and the coffee machine time out and turn on for the next day, the house is the most cold and in expectation of another day. I heard the setter come into our bedroom about that time. He reached over and took the extra blanket we keep on the bed.

The alarm went off and we found the dog curled up in the blanket next to our bed.
