I guess after my struggle of trying to connect to God whilst identifying with my sexual orientation, I've come to a place where I can base my spiritual beliefs on my own experience and understandings (as long as I'm not harming anyone else). I still have more of a relationship with Jesus as I'm more familiar with him, but I make it my own and I am also self spiritual. I believe that love and acceptance are more important than silly non issues such as homosexuality (meaning God wouldn't care whether you're gay or not), or pre maritial sex (it's nice guys). Why, because it works for me and I can grow spiritually from my own ideas as well as the teachings of Jesus.
What I'm getting at is that it's ok to create your own path to what ever God you want, in what ever way it suits you, as long as it's not at the expense as others.
