It's actually the BULL you're supposed to grab by the horns, not the balls,.... hmmmm otherwise grabbing the balls by the horn sounds like a hand job...

Ten years ago you were still a teenager and still wondering who you were. Now you're an adult and you know who you are. He's grown up too, he's about your age, if he can't take it as his age, he needs to grow a pair of 'em.

I suffer from the voices in my head yelling at me not to do it (they all belong to people I knew growing up since I was raised Mormon and everything is wrong to those disgusting bigots, including my mother) so believe me when I say it'll be hard but you can do it.

Oh, those voices are so LOUD, they can literally be SCREAMING at you. I think we've all been there somehow about some thing or other.
I think real courage means deciding that you really have nothing to lose by doing whatever brave act you're about to do, and considering the positives of doing so outweigh the negatives.

If your best friend can appreciate who you are, he shouldn't have a problem. He might even know already, and the longer you wait, the more awkward it gets for him. Introduce him to your boyfriend.

Why? Are you scared he will turn the other way? Is he that important that being yourself doesn't matter? If he does turn the other way then he wasn't a great friend to begin with.

And anyway your sexuality isn't even an issue or shouldn't be. I don't see the need to tell him maybe if you want to. But only if you want to. I don't need to tell anyone I'm guy I just assume that they assume I'm gay :p

So you think he may already suspect or know, and you feel you're lying to him? Well that makes two good reasons for having it out in the open. As someone on here suggested, introduce him to your new boyfriend. It seems to me your boyfriend needs to know you've got a best friend too, not that this necessarily means you three have to go out together and all. It just means that your boyfriend knows you have a best friend who has your well-being at heart in case you need an independent source of backup or counsel. Best friends should be kept in the loop, as it were. Otherwise what's the "best friend" status for?
