Pretty brave of this guy to be releasing this song himself, no label or manager. I really hope it does well, we could do with more music like this being put out. I mean, I can't remember the last time I saw a gay artist put out a song that was so unashamed of their sexuality, and actually told a story that so many of us related to.
I mean, it's not like I expect every gay singer to have a big arrow pointing at them saying "Hey, look at me! I like boys", but it's definitely a breath of fresh air to see someone singing about their feelings, and not awkwardly tip-toeing around the object of their affections with "you", "they", etc.
For too long I think a lot of artists have felt the need to either vague-up their sexuality if they want to succeed (such as Darren Hayes and his female "love" interest in Bloodstained Heart), or completely rely on it, and shove it in peoples faces (i.e- Adam Lambert). It's nice to see a singer who can be gay, and open about it, yet at the same time not make it seem like a huge deal.
Top stuff, once again I thank you for sharing
