Green lasers
#11
Yeah the threat from those lasers outweigh the threat of potential break down of government and civil unrest.

Egpyt... Another nation the USA needs to go to, kick some butt, install a defacto government while pilfering the resources. What we in America call 'Spreading Democracy'....

Like we did for Afghanistan, Iraq and I think Syria... one of those little nations.Rolleyes

If you are in Egypt, I think the least of your worries is being blinded by a green laser.

BBC reporting is biased!

There was a particular BBC current affairs show in which the public could participate by phoning in with their opinion. In this case the topic was imigration.

It seems that if you called the show and expressed an opinion against imigration, you were far less likelly to make it to air.

A report said: “According to a former producer of Any Answers? who worked on the programme 10 years ago, people ringing in to the telephonists who act as a first filter would probably have found that, if they said they wanted to come on air and say immigration was too high or was harming the country, they would not make it through to the next filter and on to air."

These things are a menace. Apart from being awful - when I was at a lights show a couple months ago, some dickhead deicided to wave a green laser at a man who was walking across a high beam on top of the auckland war memorial museum. He could have easily fallen to his death.

Another thing is stupid children pointing them at planes and helicopters.

I don't understand why these are not banned. They are useless for the ordinary person, red lasers do exactly the same thing without burning your eyes out.
