Oh just to add, one thing that makes me paranoid now. A few months ago he'd came back from Liverpool as he was covering one day, and he had a really heavy bag. He had a light bruise on the bottom of his neck. I questioned it and he said it had probably just been the bag. Now after all of this I think 'oh was that just a lie'. At the time I saw it and it kind of made sense to be his bag, but now I think oh what if :/

I think you should break up with him... What if someday he meets someone and finally he 'can do it'?
I think is there no trust, and you will always be thinking about if he cheated or not...

I think couple counseling is the way to go...you lost something very important in a relationship and that is trust. Trust and honesty is the foundation of very good relationship and it seems to me that you have lost that. It's touching that he's willing to go into counselling and I just think you guys should give that a go and see if it works out? if it doesn't that you guys can break up...if you want to.
